Questions

Does the Mac keep a clipboard history?
macOS keeps only the last thing you copied, plus a short history in Spotlight on Tahoe. Overswan keeps everything you copy, with its own shortcut, pins, images, link cleaning and plain-text paste.
Is my clipboard private?
Your history stays on your Mac. Passwords copied from password managers are never recorded, and nothing you copy while an app on your list is in front is saved.
How do I paste without formatting on a Mac?
Press ⌃⌥⇧V to paste anything as plain text, in any app. You can change the shortcut in Settings.
Is there a text expander too?
Yes. Text snippets expand short triggers like ;sig into longer text, and pause in password fields.
